Comments:

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. A monitoring inspection was initiated on March 16, 2021 and concluded on March 16, 2021. The Executive Director and Program Director were contacted to initiate the inspection. The facility reported the current census to be nine (9) residents. The inspector emailed the Executive Director and Program Director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The inspector reviewed two (2) resident records and Medication Administration Records, eight (8) staff records, insurance documentation, a sampling of menus, daily communication logs, staff work schedules, and fire drills, annual review of emergency preparedness plan, and the annual fire and sanitation inspection information submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued. The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs. The licensee has five (5) calendar days from receipt of the inspection documentation to sign each page of the documentation and return it to the Licensing Office. The licensee should retain a copy to be posted at the facility. Results of the inspection documentation will be posted on the VDSS web page and available for review by the general public.
