22VAC40-151-1010 Implementing written policies and procedures to protect infants, toddlers, and young children from dangers in their environment (?baby-proofing? as two infants in placement are crawling)

Comments:

A mandated monitoring inspection was initiated on 5/22/2024 and concluded on 5/29/2024. The Chief Administrative Officer was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. The Chief Administrative Officer reported that the current census was three. The inspector emailed the Program Director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The inspector reviewed two resident records, one discharged resident record, two staff records, weekly menus, monthly evacuation drills, medication administration records, and staff schedules as submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete. One resident and two staff interviews were conducted. The inspector conducted the tour and on-site portion of the inspection on 5/29/2024 with the Licensing Administrator. One resident and two infants were present during the on-site portion of the inspection. An infant journal was reviewed on-site. An exit interview was conducted with Program Director on the date of inspection, where findings were reviewed and an opportunity was given for questions, as well as for providing any information or documentation which was not available during the inspection. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued
